The music of Magic From Space (Liam Cloyd, a prolific and deft Ohio musician) resists categorisation, yet often invokes a merry naivety, combining juicy riffs with elaborate harmonies in short and immaculately produced tracklets. 2bpev fits this description with its strange, gorgeous and concise tunes.

Moonlight Sword is an experimental collaboration between Liam Cloyd and Bastian Void (aka Joseph Bastardo), accomplished sonic and visual artist at the helm of tape label Moss Archive. The project name will be familiar to players of From Software games (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring). Although the MFS touch is evident here too, this side remains darker and sparser, with most tracks lacking beats or multiple layers.
